Barking deer are one of the smaller species of deer. The stags are very small antlers, mot more than 11cm long. The name "Barking deer" was given to them for their loud, sharp calls that resembles the barking dogs. Barking Deer live mostly in pairs. In mating season, the adult males fight their rivals. In doing so, they use their sharp-pointed antlers and razor-sharp canine teeth, badly wounding eath other. It is found in India and China.
